How to earn money online?
This is a guide to help you learn how to become an online millionaire. I’ll show you the steps in this article:
Step 1: Choose A Niche
The first thing that many people think they need to do when starting their website or blog is to choose a niche. In layman's terms, it means choosing one subject and working your way towards it. The best way to do so is to pick something big enough for you to be able to attract traffic from search engines like Google and Yahoo, then work your way into other niches that will give you some traction. Once again, do not let anything stop you. Don’t allow anyone else to tell you anything else. If someone tells you to go with Amazon as your name or whatever, that is okay.
I have gone to great lengths to avoid picking a specific category because of two reasons: (1) people who are trying to get me to buy stuff and (2) people who don’t want to share my work with them yet. You should always stick to your choices until you see success. Some of these categories I chose to focus more on in recent years because they were profitable but then realized later they weren’t anymore. So now it’s just about making sure I can afford it.
I find LinkedIn to be a better place to start than YouTube because you can get people to come to your site even if you don’t have much content there. It might take longer to build a following if you don’t start by connecting with people in your niche, but once you have built a small base of readers, then work your way up.
This was probably the biggest mistake I made early on. But it worked well, and I had over 12,000 followers before people noticed it.
Step 2: Find SEO Experts and Start Getting Blogged
This step took me way too long, and since then I try to only do it because most people want advice if they are struggling to get started but also don’t understand what it takes to succeed when doing it. When people ask me how to make money blogging, I usually answer “Find the right person”. The reason I say that is because so many bloggers want to talk to those who know everything and don’t have any experience to back down from that, while I am the complete opposite. People who know nothing about writing can expect me to know everything. That’s not true though, which is why I believe it’s important to surround yourself with experts who can teach you all you need to know so that you can start getting results without hesitation.
When I look through platforms that offer online marketing services, I try to figure out who they are, what their specialty is, and what areas they specialize mostly. Then, I follow them to look at what topics they cover and try to find out where and how they make their money. There must be something happening or something happening. And eventually, I decide to use what service they offer. There are several services I tried. One example that caught my eye was AdSense ads and the cost was $4 per thousand impressions. Not bad for such a low fee.
Step 3: Build Your Website
Now you should probably start building your blog, hopefully with WordPress. And I’m guessing that every blogger knows how easy it is to set it up with no problem. This step is pretty easy. Just go to Google, type in “Blogging”, and click on the top result. Now type your name in the field that says “write”, the easiest option to write. Copy and paste the title and hit Save. When you save the file, open it in your editor to edit it. You can change most things here, just put the text as you wrote it.
Step 4: Get Started With Social Media Platforms
Now that you have a really good post and some good links, I think it’s time to start going out and finding as many social media sites as you. Here are some of the ones I have tried so far:
Instagram – 10,000+ followers, 9,500 likes
LinkedIn- 5,500
Facebook- 4,700
Twitter- 2,500
Tumblr- 0
But these are the ones I use mainly. After reading a couple of articles on social media platform reviews, I decided to check out Tumblr. They seem to be giving away free hosting, but it worked well for me, and didn’t take the time to install it or learn anything new. So, you can consider signing up for that. Another choice is to sign up for Facebook. At least half of me didn’t like the experience and I stopped using it after that. But it’s still available. It is still fun.
Step 5: Pay For Hosting
Now you would probably wonder why I choose this. Well… because you can use almost all free hosting with these platforms? Yes, but it’s a little extra step that you might want to take. Before we dig into that, I wanted to highlight another benefit to having WordPress, besides just being beginner-friendly. By using WordPress, I can create plugins, themes, and extensions. All this is very helpful for people who may be not too familiar with the programming language behind it to build something on the side and not have to worry about maintaining one or two.
If you know how to code and aren’t afraid to put your mind to it, then you can easily set up plugins and themes to make customizing your blog a lot easier than ever.
When you pay for hosting at Bluehost, you get 15 GB of storage. That’s a nice amount. As for cPanel, they charge around $10/month. On an alternative domain, Namecheap charges around $200/year for.com or.org. Plus, you get 7 days of free SSL support for free! It’s affordable and you get lots of features, including unlimited domains, unlimited email accounts, and tons of plugins. That’s pretty neat. However, here’s the kicker: My blog was hosted on cPanel for a year and it became slow. And after a few months, I moved all my posts back to Bluehost. This is nice because it’s been a month, so technically I have another 3 months to wait before it hits some speed issues. Luckily for me, it hasn’t.
So, as you can see, there’s a lot to be said about hosting. I am keeping this part short and sweet since I already know what goes on. The point is that I am trying to provide a basic guide. Maybe someday I will explain the specifics of things.
Step 6: Do Your Article Writing
The next thing that is required is writing your post! Even though this is the hardest section to accomplish, especially if you want to be professional. It’s usually the easiest to do. I think that’s because it doesn’t require that much time. Most writers have figured it out before you even realize you are writing.
I do have an issue with sticking to topics when writing, I know a lot about, say, technology. It’s tough to express it with words. But if you stick to some topic, then you can write about it very fluently and make other people like your story. You always want to write something original and something new.
My favorite way to approach this is to write about how tech works with my wife and their dogs. We do all sorts of different things together, but we love our animals. I love writing about how to keep it simple and practical, and maybe a bit of humor too. It’s like talking to friends and saying a bit of fun.
The same goes for my actual articles. I always start by explaining my thoughts on certain aspects of life. Then I move on to researching a bit to fill in all the gaps, especially if the topic can be quite tricky. Or at least some parts. And then I get to the actual writing and research to create the piece. Sometimes the work isn’t as perfect as it should be, that’s why sometimes I get frustrated when I realize it seems a bit flat.
That’s when I realize how important the final product is. It helps me understand where I went wrong and continue to improve.
Step 7: Sell Your Work
So, now that you made it and are comfortable with publishing and promoting your work and keeping it updated, it’s time to sell it! This is the final step. The whole process from start to finish is done by bloggers. It takes a lot of discipline, and when you can manage that, you can finally get paid for what you do.
You can either print it out and do it by hand or you can use software like Scribie. I guess that’s just personal preference.
So to sum it up, there are three main steps when planning your work:
1. Research and research.
2. Produce art.
3. Sell it.
You definitely should master them all. Because once you are successful, it’s hard to learn them.
Conclusion
So there you are. I hope that helped you in a slightly messy way. Hopefully, you learned a little more than you did. Good luck, and thank you.
